100 Moths is an art and conservation project conceived and directed by artist and writer, Annabel Carington. It involves Annabel making 100 drawings and 100 paintings of moths that can be found in the British Isles, including those which are most at risk. The aim of the project is to raise awareness of the environmental and cultural importance of moths in the UK.
When the project has been completed there will be an exhibition open to the public; a percentage of the sales will be donated to UK moth conservation projects. There will also be a book that will include images of all the artworks along with further information about the moths. Find out more about the project and see the images that have been completed so far over on Annabel’s website. You can also follow the project on Instagram.
